Tea Tales is ready for the summer!

It's not summer yet, but aren't we all looking forward to it? One thing is for sure, the Tea Tales team is! We'll be at the DoKomi in Germany next month and at the Atsusacon in Belgium in July. If you also happen to be there, come by for a chat! Or a drawing or check out our books.

Other than that, all is going splendid with Tea Tales. Our next book will be Tales of Bluebury 2 and our next project is going to be much darker than you're used of from us. Curious? Keep your eyes open for more Tea Tales news.

Tales of Bluebury!

Previews and a summary of our new book, Tales of Bluebury!

Tales of Bluebury will be available during the Chibicon upcoming July and soon in our online store too. It's the thickest book we've made so far and its suitable for all ages. On top of that, if you purchase your copy at the Chibicon you'll get free chocolate to get you in the mood too! (Cadbury, very nice quality British chocolate. Limited available though)

Other news; we're currently working on new plushies, characters from The Bunny's Diary. Hopefully they'll be ready for the Chibicon too.

To everyone who visited us at the Animecon and at the Stripdagen Haarlem, a big thank you! We had a really great time and we hope you did too. Next month we'll be in Houten at the Chibicon and after a two years we're finally presenting a new Tea Tales book!

It's called Tales of Bluebury and it's a mix of: romance, humor, drama and sweet stories that all take place at a high school called Bluebury in the UK. This is the first time Tea Tales is presenting a book with a theme, but our artists have managed to make the theme theirs and came up with exciting new and original stories.

We hope you'll look forward to it! (more information soon)

The fifth issue of the Tea Tales Magazine

It's finally here! The fifth issue of the Tea Tales Magazine and as you're used from us, it's stuffed with lots of comics and artworks. What makes this issue a bit different is that it's a Bunny's Diary special. The first story Tea Tales ever released was "The Bunny's Diary" and as a celebration of our 3 year existence we thought it would be a good idea to redraw the story for our Magazine. Of course there are also plenty of other stories to read such as Minna, O.N.E and much more!

Kismi and Lovmi

This weekend we'll be at the Yaoicon in Arnhem and for this special occasion a Kismi and Lovmi plushie were made! (As it's more of a SSAI event after all) We've also got new buttons of these white blobs and some lovely SSAI bookmarkers. If you happen to visit the con, why not come by for a chat? :D

Happy new Chinese New Year

Even though Chinese New Year was 10 days ago, we would still wish everyone a year full of luck and happiness! Of course the Tea Garden can't do without a tiger so meet Ko Kei; a tiger who likes to go on treasure hunting.

He'll appear in a comic for the first time in our 5th Tea Tales Magazine issue (expected in May), please look forward to it.

Happy New Year everyone! Best wishes to all of you and I hope you enjoyed the holidays. It's been a while since the blog got updated, but with this update we also bring you big news because the fourth issue of the Tea Tales Magazine is finally there!

Tea Tales Magazine Issue 3

It's September, which means it's time for the last release of this year. In other words, the third issue of the Tea Tales Magazine is here! A big website update (Europe)

It has taken a while to finish, but our website finally got herself a makeover! Not only did the layout change, there's also new sections to explore. The Teacup is where you can view artworks and read manga previews, plus there are lots of polls hidden. And we also did a big update on our Online Store where you can now, also purchase various merchandise products!

Chibicon 2009/ Anime Evolution 2009

There's a busy weekend ahead of us, you can find us at the Chibicon 2009 (The Netherlands) and at the Anime Evolution 2009 (Canada) this weekend. If you happen to visit, feel free to come by for a chat! At our table you'll be able to purchase your very own copy of the Tea Tales Magazine or one of our books. We've also got some new merchandise, including these cute little Kismi and Luvmi keychains!

Both are handmade. We've also got some new bookmarkers as well as buttons and for the first time, we've also got some cute litte mini stickers! We can't wait. We hope to see you there!

Animecon 2009

A small post to thank everyone who visited us at the Animecon 2009! And also, thank you for purchasing our products, we hope you'll enjoy them. We had a great time and we hope you had as well.

Next month there are two conventions we will attend, one in the Netherlands again (The Chibicon 2009) and one in Canada (Anime Evolution 2009). Both are around the same time (12th/14th of June) If you happen to visit any of these cons, feel free to come by for a chat. You can find us in the dealer room/artist alley. New Merchandise

Allow us to present you the newest Tea Tales products! (aside the magazine of course) All these products will be available at the Animecon 2009. If you happen to visit this event, feel free to visit us for a chat in the dealer room.

The latest addiction to our collection are these cute Chibi Cards. Not only are they fun to collect, but they could also help you to keep track of all the different stories that have appeared in our books and magazine. The cards contain information about the characters, pictures and much more. We hope to add these cards to our online shop in the near future!

And even cuter than before, there are new Cha Mao Plushies! (Aside the old version) These are even fluffier, softer and also have various accessories on them. These plushies are a slightly more expensive than the other ones, but in return you get a much nicer quality.

We also have some new button and bookmarker designs, both only €1,00 each.

Welcome to the Tea Tales blog! On this blog we will provide you with more news, updates, information and silly things regarding Tea Tales. We realized that there wasn't much space for these kind of updates on our website so we figured out that a blog might not be such a bad idea at all. Oh and as you probably already noticed, the fuzzy little (actually, not so little at all...) creature in the photo is Cha Mao! After lots of little Cha Mao plushies, it was time to make a big one.
